About Me!
Hey everyone! I’m Samanta Cuallo, but all my friends call me Sammy! I am a Mexican-American actress currently completing my BFA in Musical Theatre this May at the University of Utah (Salt Lake City). I love theatre's ability to bring people together and I can’t wait to get out there and bring that connection to other communities!I am currently local to Phoenix, Arizona but grew up in Portland, Oregon and New Jersey and I consider both home. I was first introduced to the world of live performance when my parents enrolled me in violin lessons at five years old, and I fell in love with it ever since. I did it all from rhythmic gymnastics to choir, but once I found musical theatre I knew that was my real passion.As self proclaimed hobby collector I love to branch out from theatre and experiment with as many forms of self expression possible! When not on stage you can usually find me painting something for an art class, finding a new local library to read at, or making clothes! knitting and crocheting for my friends and family is my ultimate love language.
